WinVN is the program you will use to access the Internet NewsGroups. These are collections of articles that people write about different subjects. You can find information and discussion, not to mention much verbal diatribe, in the Usenet Newsgroups. Turn on your computer, your modem (if external) and then go into Windows. Open up the Internet Program Group and double-click on the Trumpet icon. Log into MaineStreet as you normally would. Minimize Trumpet, then double-click on the WinVN icon. You will be presented with a window that shows a list of the available NewsGroups you can access. They have names like comp.ai.fuzzy.logic, and others.
