Introduction- Setting up TFS Gateway consists of three steps: 1) Running setup and installing TFS 2) Configure your UUCP dial in. 3) Setup your Mail Gateway for your LAN. The following instructions are for setting up Step two of the process, configuring you UUCP dial in. Instructions for configuring your UUCP dial in- In the TFS administrator go to TFS setup-Gateway-Internet(UUCP) and configuration screens as below.
![]() Your modem strings and COM port settings will need to be set for your modem. Next you must install your chat script for the program to do this press the Create login script button and this next screen will come up.
![]() In the internet provider box type in Mainestreet, in the login Script box put this line in: "" \d\d\d\d\d "" ^M "" ^M name> usernameU word> password ogin: username2 word: password2 Note: you have to replace your username and passwords for UUCP into this script. Example: usernameU is your username with a capital U after it After you have installed the script hit OK and then hit OK on the previous configuration screen then exit TFS administrator. To run the dial in: Run TFSWINET.EXE and keep it running, then run TFSWUUCP.EXE to test the dial in. TFSWUUCP.EXE will dial in and download the email to two directories. From this point you must configure your LAN email system to work with TFS Gateway, there are instruction for different mail systems in TFS Gateways manual.
