In the long run it all boiled down to switching one setting.
But isn't that always the way?
Here are some screen captures of how your preferences should look.
The most important setting is the one where you tell the program to
"Always Authenticate". Without this set properly you will not be able to get
the full group list.
First you must make these changes to your
Newswatcher Preferences: Server Addresses
Next, make these changes to
Newswatcher Preferences: Personal Information
And then to
Newswatcher Preferences: Remote Host Information
Lastly, these changes to
Newswatcher Preferences: Authentication
Very Important Note!
Be sure that you DO NOT get the full group list!
Instead, REBUILD the full list...this can be found under the Special menu.
