Netscape - Options

Preferences

This screen changes as the item selected in the to Drop Down List is changed. The "Preferences" menu option contains many sections which you probably won't use, but it will be help if you get familiar with the most common settings.

Styles - This section sets the Window and Link styles used by Netscape. If you want to change the starting page that Netscape brings up when you first open it, type the URL for that page in the text box.

For example if you want to start with MaineStreet's Page each time, then type in: http://WWW.Maine.Com.

If you want to change all of the followed links back to their original color (blue) then click on the Expire Followed Links Now button. You may also preprogram the links to expire automatically after a certain period of time.

Go on to the Directory and Help Menus.
