Accounting Configuration Handbook |
Because of the nature of the beast, things happen while a web site is being downloaded onto your machine. If you are waiting for a page to come in and when it does, it doesn't look quite right, try the View menu's Reload option or click on the Reload button on the toolbar. This will cause your machine to ask for a new "copy" from the server and may improve its looks.
I Know Where You're Going 'Cause I've Seen Where You've Been Netscape has a couple of different ways it remembers what sites you have been on, both in the current session and for a specified amount of time afterwards. After surfing for awhile if you click on the Go menu option you see the last 20 or 30 sites that you've been to. If you click on the History option you get a more detailed list of visited sites. This memory is temporary and will be erased at the end of the Netscape session. Whenever you click on a "link" it changes colors. This also lets you know where you've been. If you want to change those links back to their original color go to the Options menu and choose Preferences. Choose Styles from the drop-down list. Near the bottom of the dialog box you will see a section called Link Styles. This is where you can change the length of time the links stay a different color. You can also change them all back immediately by clicking on the Now button. Go on to Bookmark.
