- Composition
- Use Signature - Default setting to automatically attach a signature file to a message.
- May Use QP - Allows use of Quoted-Printable Encoding
- Word Wrap - Allows use of the word wrap feature.
- Tabs in Body - Allows use of tabs in the message body.
- Keep Copies - Automatically saves a copy of all sent messages in the out box.
- Reply to All - Allows the reply to a message to go to all senders and cc's.
- Include Self - Sends a copy of outgoing messages to yourself as well.
- Send Attachments
- Always as Attachment - Sends attachments as a different file than the message.
- Encode with:

- MIME - Best for recipients with MIME
- BinHex - Best for old Macintosh mailers and older versions of Eudora
- Checking
- Save Password - Allows remembrance of Password between sessions.
- Leave Mail On Server - Causes only copies of your mail to be collected. Not recommended.
- Skip Big Messages - Doesn't allow receipt of large mail messages.
- Sending
- Send on Check - Automatically sends queued messages when mail is checked.
- Immediate Send - Toggles the "Send" or "Queue" button on new message screen.
- New Mail Notification
- Alert - Displays an alert box when new mail is received.
- Sound - Plays a little tune when new mail is received.
- Open "In" Mailbox - Automatically opens the "In Box" when new mail is received.
- Switch Message With
- Plain Arrows - Allows switching between messages using cursor keys.
- Ctrl Arrows - Allows switching between messages using the [Ctrl] key and cursor keys.
- Miscellany
- Show all Headers - Displays all information in the message headers.
- Zoom Windows - Brings windows automatically to their "zoomed" size
- Easy Delete - Allows the bypass of the Trash Box.
- Mailbox Superclose - Closes all open messages from that mailbox
- Empty Trash on Quit - Empties the trash box automatically when closing Eudora.
- Easy Open - Deleting or transfering an open message automatically opens next unread message
- Show Progress - Shows the progress of transmissions and receiving.
- Auto-OK - Automatically closes error dialog boxes after a couple of minutes
