You should see a screen similar to the one above for configuring FreePPP.

On your FreePPP application, you should now click on the Accounts folder tab. Click Here to see what the next screen will look like.

It should look like this:

Now, in the FreePPP Accounts Setup, double-click on Untitled Click here to go to the next screen.

• In the Server name box, enter MaineStreet
• Enter your Local Access Number Don't forget to disable call waiting if you need to. *-7-0 should do it, but check with your phone company if you are not sure.
• Change Connect to Using Connection Script
• Click on Edit Connection Script...

Click here to go to the next screen.

You now need to make your configuration screen look exactly like the image above. You will need to enter YOUR Userid and Password in the appropriate locations.

After you are done, click "OK". Now click on the Connection folder tab.

Click here to go to the nest screen.

You can now set your baud rate and set the flow control. Click on "OK", then click on the Options folder tab.

Click here to go to the next screen.

The next few screens should be the default settings. Verify that they match the pictures. If they match, leave them just the way they are!
Click on "OK". You should now click on the Locations folder tab.

Click here to go to the next screen.

Double-click on the Home line. This will take you to the next window.

Click here to go to the next screen.

You should not have to change anything here. Click on "OK" to get back to the last screen. Click on the General folder tab. Click on the Modem Setup button.

Except in rare cases, this should stay the same.
Once you have verified that it is the same, click on "OK" to go back to the top screen.

This is how your final screen should look. You can click on the blue triangle to minimize or maximize the screen.

You are now ready to dial into your MaineStreet Account!
